Historical documents preserved as audit trail. Each file in this
directory was once a living doc, then closed by a specific R-arc round
or superseded by a later document. None of the contents are
authoritative for the current code state — see the living docs at
docs/PARITY_SUMMARY.md,
docs/PARITY_PROOF.md,
docs/UPSTREAM_PARITY.md,
docs/COMPLETION_ROADMAP.md, and the
per-round records in docs/operational-runs/
for what is currently true.

Archive policy
Files moved here remain in git history; cross-references from
historical docs/operational-runs/*.md round-docs point at the
archived paths. Adding new entries to this directory requires:
- The doc is no longer authoritative for current code state.
- Each finding/section the doc tracks has either shipped, been superseded, or been explicitly retired with a closure annotation in the doc body.
- Living docs that reference the archived doc are updated to point
at
docs/archive/<file>.md.
This README is the index; update it when adding entries.
